Dubli Scam or Should Ebay Be Scared?
I have to admit that the Dubli business opportunity sounds intriguing and I can understand why people get involved. With the massive popularity of Ebay, why not try to capitalize yourself with a business that seems like it's kind of like Ebay? 
So, I decided to look into this home based business opportunity a little further and put together this review for you to see if I could uncover the Dubli scam or reveal it as a legitimate business.
What Exactly is Dubli? Dubli is a "reverse" online auction site. So, unlike Ebay, the price for the item you want to bid on is concealed until you purchase credits which you can apply to the item to reveal the price. You can purchase 10 credits for $8.00 up to 500 credits for $400. Each credit will lower the starting price by 25 cents. That doesn't sound like a lot to me. You can purchase the item at any time, or wait for more credits to be applied by other shoppers or yourself before purchasing. Kind of cool. Obviously, since it costs you money to even see the price of the item, it better be something that you are interested in purchasing. I don't think most people would pay money just to window shop! I do not know how good the prices on Dubli are since I have never personally shopped on the site.
What is the Dubli Home Based Business Opportunity?
To start your Dubli business, it costs $175 to purchase your eBiz Kit. Commissions are earned basically by shopping and having your downline purchase credit packages. Credits, as the site states, are what Dubli is all about. There are 3 credit packages that you can purchase:
- Bronze - 800 credits for $575
- Silver - 2,000 credits for $1350
- Gold - 5,000 credits for $2,995

Since the product is basically "shopping", the idea of paying to shop does not sit well with me personally. The way that I see it, you will need to recruit a large downline as with any MLM style network marketing business to earn a substantial income. But, in this case, you will need to recruit a large downline of people who not only can recruit but who like shopping on auction sites other than Ebay. I do not think that Dubli is a scam, because I think that the business itself sounds pretty cool and unique. I also don't think that it'll become the next Ebay either, although it's catching on in Europe. As with any network marketing business, you will need to do some network marketing prospecting every day. You will need to find a lots of leads! It doesn't matter if you are in Dubli or any other home based business, without leads you will find success very difficult to achieve.
